About the project

I created this video from the initial concept through AI image and video generation to the final edit. A worker sinks deeper as he struggles, eventually transforming into the character he fears. The sequence explores atmosphere, transformation and texture.

An independent entry for the Vahshi opening-title competition. It advanced to the second round and was still under review at my last update in September 2026. This is not the official opening sequence.

Behind the work

Developing the right texture was the main visual challenge. I generated and refined a large number of images to establish the look, using GPT Image and Midjourney before bringing the images into motion.
